I was apprehensive of the whole process prior to your first visit, but that couple of hours gave me confidence that we were in the right hands no matter how things progressed. Having a history of knowing your dad was a plus to get started, but your explanation of the process we needed to follow helped ease my concerns.
I was a bit frustrated when it looked like you were being left out of the loop in the middle of the transactions, so was glad when Heather started sending information to you. It ended up being the right move as the advice you gave on a couple of occasions when my initial reactions to some of the demands by the girl’s lawyers were not as calm and reasoned as they should have been.
Today we have arrived at the place I had envisioned about 7 or 8 years ago, but the road to get here was considerably more winding and not nearly so well paved as I had envisioned.
